In observance of the Migrant Workers' Day, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd (right) and National Housing Authority General Manager Marcelino Escalada (left) sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU), together with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, on the implementation of a socialized and low-cost housing program for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

During the event on June 7, DoLE also inked an MoU with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos for cultural adaptation and language training of Middle East-bound domestic workers, and the Department of Transportation for returning OFWs' employment opportunities in the transport industry.
