Bounty Harvest Farm inks MoA to adopt DoST-ITDI's vacuum-fried Langka

The DoST-Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) has developed its technology on vacuum-fried langka (jackfruit), for which it has found an adopter, Bounty Fresh Farm.

ITDI Director Dr. Annabelle Briones signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Amihan Crooc, owner of Bounty Harvest Farm. The MoA signing was witnessed by ITDI-Food Processing Division (FPD) Chief Dr. Norberto Ambagan, Technological Services Division (TSD) Chief Nelia Elisa CFlorendo, and Bounty Harvest Farm's Balgamel Crooc.

The agreement includes a training course on making vacuum-fried langka with ITDI tasked to oversee the activity's overall implementation. Meanwhile, Bounty Harvest Farm will be coordinating with ITDI for other support activities like commercialization efforts. Furthermore, the said company will acknowledge ITDI in its product packaging.
