Hundreds of residents including uniformed personnel donated blood on World Blood Donor Day, June 18, 2021, held at the General Trias Convention Center in Barangay Sampalukan. Dr. Jonathan Luseco, city health officer, thanked the donors for supporting the project ‘even during a pandemic.’ The bloodletting was organized by Alagang Kapatid Foundation of ABC 5 in cooperation with the local government unit of General Trias under Mayor Antonio Ferrer, Philippine Red Cross, Philippine General Hospital, Provincial Health Office and Department of Health-Calabarzon.
