THE Philippines has secured fresh World Bank funding for the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), which is expected to help 300,000 rural residents in targeted areas across the country.
In a statement on Friday, the World Bank announced its board of executive directors' approval of a $280-million (about P13.54-billion) additional financing and 18.3-million euro (about P1.05-billion) grant for the PRDP.
