Alex Eala falters in Madrid

Alex Eala of the Philippines bowed out in the W25 Madrid tournament doubles event on Wednesday evening (Philippine time) at the Ciudad Raqueta in Madrid, Spain.

Eala and her partner Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva of Andorra lost to the more seasoned pair of American Ashley Lahey and Australian Olivia Tjandramulia, 5-7, 6-4, 6-10, in the quarterfinal round.
