Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar ordered the PNP's Drug Enforcement Group to seek the approval of the high court for the immediate destruction of more than P1 billion worth of shabu confiscated in two separate drug operations in Cavite and Parañaque City on Sunday.

In a statement on Wednesday, the PNP claimed two separate buy-bust operations - which resulted in the arrest of two big-time Chinese drug traffickers - were the biggest drug haul of the PNP and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a single day operation this year.
