DAVAO CITY: Nineteen more barangay (villages) in Davao Occidental have been declared drug-free by the Regional Oversight Committee Barangay Drug Clearing.

In a ceremony held at Malita town in said province on Tuesday, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 11 information officer Noli Dimaandal said the declaration was the result of the intensified anti-illegal drugs campaign by the local authorities in Davao Occidental.
