Go urges swift passage of DMWOF measure

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go on Wednesday emphasized the urgent need to form a Department of Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos (DMWOF) to protect overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) from abuses overseas.

The senator co-sponsored Senate Bill (SB) 2234 on May 25 mandating the formation of the DMWOF.
