SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go reported that President Rodrigo Duterte had instructed the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to immediately deploy vaccines to high-risk areas amid reports of rising Covid-19 cases.

'Last night, President [Rodrigo] Duterte and I were talking to some members of the IATF. The President said the vaccines should be immediately deployed, especially to critical areas, high-risk areas. He cited as an example the rising cases in Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur [both provinces in Mindanao], such areas,' Go said during the launch of the 119th Malasakit Center at the National Children's Hospital in Quezon City on Monday, June 14.
