THE trend showing a drop in the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the country has slowed down and has started to plateau, according to a Department of Health (DoH) official.
In her regular Covid-19 situationer, Dr. Alethea de Guzman, officer-in-charge of the DoH's Epidemiology Bureau, said, however, that the current trend could go either way depending on how effective local government units (LGUs) are in implementing control measures and the people's adherence to minimum health standards.
