PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte ordered a swift completion of the studies on the use of Ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug, as treatment for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
In his public address on Monday, Duterte said it was important to determine the efficacy of Ivermectin "earlier" so the government would know if the drug can be used on Covid-19 patients.
