Audi will use a vehicle with an electric drivetrain in competing for overall victory in the 2022 Dakar Rally.
To ensure it becomes the first auto manufacturer to achieve this in the legendary rally, Audi signed up the powerhouse driver pairings of Stephane Peterhansel and Edouard Boulanger, Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz, and Mattias Ekstrom and Emil Bergkvist for the campaign.
