Police checkpoints will continue for tighter border controls, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Sunday.
PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar was responding to a note by the OCTA Research, which stressed the "importance of maintaining border controls in provinces or regions across the country" amid the possibility of downgrading restrictions in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces.
