COMMISSION on Higher Education (CHEd) Chairman J. Prospero de Vera 3rd maintained the reappointment of Urduja Tejada as president of the Cagayan State University (CSU) was illegal as he parried charges he is using the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) as leverage in the issue.
He said contrary to what his critics claimed, CSU students were given financial assistance.
