Whatever happened to the crypto haven in the (Cagayan) Valley?

Critics definitely claim that cryptocurrency has no real use - well except to pay ransom demanded by cybercriminals like the Bitcoins paid to those who hacked and crippled the Colonial Pipeline ($5 million) and JBS Meat ($11 million) systems. Or to pay drug and gun runners. Or runners of prostitution rings. Or other shady underground scams.

Mainstream, routine activities such as paying bank loans or school tuition or just buying groceries use fiat currencies.
