LPA off Northern Luzon may develop into tropical storm in 24 hrs -- Pagasa

A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Northern Luzon but still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.

However, the LPA was not likely to enter PAR as it might make landfall somewhere over Hainan, China.
