Military to 2022 bets: Don't pay campaign fees to NPA

THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) dissuaded politicians eyeing to run in the 2022 presidential and local elections from paying the 'permit to campaign' fees to the New People's Army (NPA).

Maj. Gen. Edgard Arevalo, AFP spokesman, said paying the campaign fees would be tantamount to supporting the communist rebels.
