SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go urged communities to prepare for the rainy season as his office conducted a relief operation for the families recently displaced by flash floods in Enrique B. Magalona town, Negros Occidental.
"Paghandaan po natin nang husto ang mga bagyo at sakuna. Maghanda tayo ng emergency supplies, gaya ng tubig at pagkain, at alamin natin kung saan ang mga safe na lugar na pwede tayong mag-evacuate (Let us fully prepare for typhoons and disasters. Let us be ready with emergency supplies, such as water and foods, and know where the safe places where we can evacuate)," Go said in a video message.
