PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has quashed hopes that the government will resume negotiations with the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA), saying the peace effort is dead.
"It's dead on its [tracks] - it is in still waters," Duterte said in his interview with religious leader Apollo Quiboloy aired on SMNI channel on Tuesday.
