EDC breaks ground for Palayan project

Energy Development Corp. (EDC) on Wednesday commenced the construction of its 29-megawatt (MW) Palayan Binary Power Plant project in Manito, Albay.

The Palayan power plant will expand the Lopez-led company's existing 130-MW Bacon-Manito (BacMan) geothermal facility will generate 215.8 gigawatt hours of clean power.
