The Philippine market opened the trading week in the negative territory as it succumbed to profit taking on Monday.
The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) declined by 0.48 percent or 32.42 points to close at 6,763.92, while the broader All Shares lost 0.22 percent or 8.97 points to end at 4,099.62.
