Davao City is expected to surpass Quezon City in the number of new cases per day as the surge in Covid-19 infection continues in Mindanao, OCTA Research said on Monday.

In its June 7 report, Davao City logged an average of 206 new cases per day from May 31 to June 6 or a 54 percent growth rate.
