Saso 2 strokes behind first round leaders

Golf wunderkind Yuka Saso carded a two-under par 69 in the opening round, just two strokes behind the early leaders in the US Women's Open Championship on Friday (Philippine time) at the challenging Lake Course of The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California.

Saso, a Filipino of Japanese descent, shared the third spot with Chinese Feng Shanshan and American Lexi Thompson.
