The government has shortened by a week the quarantine period for arriving travelers who received their shots against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the Philippines.
Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said on Friday the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) agreed during a meeting on Thursday to reduce the quarantine for vaccinated individuals arriving in the country from 14 days to just seven days.
