QC issues guidelines for event organizers

QUEZON City Mayor Josefina 'Joy' Belmonte said on Friday she approved guidelines that organizers of gatherings for community service or humanitarian purposes must follow in order to avoid 'super spreader' events.

First, the event organizer has to notify the city government, particularly the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) at least five days in advance. Events like this in Barangay Matandang Balara and Barangay Holy Spirit in the past weeks resulted in a number of Covid-19 cases.
