SMC Global Power taps ABB for energy storage systems

SMC Global Power Holdings Corp. has partnered with ABB to install battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the country.

As part of a multi-million-dollar contract bagged in 2019, ABB will support two BESS sites with total capacity of 20 megawatts that will be installed this month, as well as another 40-MW BESS site in July.
