THE Philippines logged 7,217 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Thursday to raise the total number of infections to 1.248 million, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
A total of 44,197 tests were processed on June 1, where 14 percent, or 6,188 tests, returned positive. Four laboratories were not able to submit their data.
