WB okays $300-M disaster loan

The World Bank on Thursday approved a $300-million loan to enhance the safety and resilience of selected public buildings in Metro Manila.

The amount will also be used to strengthen the capacity of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to prepare for and respond to emergencies.
