PSEi falls back in the red

The local stock market fell back in the red on Thursday, which analysts said can be blamed on profit taking, latest debt figures of the national government, and concerns about new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) was down 0.73 percent, or 49.82 points, to 6,971.87, while the broader All Shares index plunged 0.34 percent, or 13.96 points, to 4,104.02.
