The municipality of Pandan, with its entry Dinahit Festival, topped the Virtual Dance Showdown in the 5th Catanduanes Abaca Festival Virtual Celebration held in the last week of May. The province of Catanduanes is the country’s largest producer of abaca fiber. Aside from the annual dance competition, the virtual festival also featured a trade fair, agricultural forum, indigenous poem reading contest, arch and façade designs and the much-awaited Festival Queen competition.
