Keng explains dropping of case vs Maria Ressa

Businessman Wilfredo Keng, who sued Rappler for cyberlibel in 2020, said he decided to desist from further prosecuting Rappler Chief Executive Officer Maria Ressa because she has been convicted by a court in Manila.

'I have already vindicated my name. It will be recalled that Ms. Ressa had already been convicted by the Manila Regional Trial Court for cyberlibel,' Keng said in a statement.
