Stock market accounts up 13.7% in 2020

Stock market accounts expanded by 13.7 percent to almost 1.4 million last year, with online accounts making up 67 percent of the total, a report from the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) showed.

The latest Stock Market Investor Profile (SMIP) reported that total stock market accounts reached 1,396,753 in 2020, up from 1,228,038 in 2019.
