PSEi soars anew amid Bayanihan 3 approval

The main index surged anew following the approval of the Bayanihan to Arise as One Act or Bayanihan 3 on third reading, along with eased restrictions and improved manufacturing data for May.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) jumped 3.23 percent or 214.26 points to its intraday high of 6,841.69, while the broader All Shares rose 2.35 percent or 94.66 points to close at 4,117.98 on Wednesday.
