Region 9 under MECQ

ZAMBOANGA CITY: The entire Zamboanga Peninsula was placed under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) status effective June 1 until June 15, according to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

This was also confirmed by Zamboanga City Mayor Maria Isalbelle 'Beng' Climaco-Salazar, who chairs the local Covid-19 task force.
