The government has completely delivered the P22.8 billion financial assistance to the residents of Metro Manila and the provinces of Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Laguna affected by the implementation of the modified enhanced community quarantine early this year, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) said.

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año said as of May 31, 11.16 million beneficiaries in the National Capital Region (NCR) have received P11.16 billion, 2.96 million residents in Bulacan got P2.96 billion, 3.42 million residents in Cavite received P3.42 billion, while 2.71 million and 2.61 million residents in Laguna and Rizal got P2.71 billion and P2.61 billion, respectively.
