NMP trains SLeyte fishermen on basic safety
The fisherfolks and skippers of Hinungan, Leyte underwent Basic Safety Training last May 7 and 8 as part of the city's campaign to prevent maritime incidents and loss of lives at sea.
65 select residents of the municipality took the Basic Safety Training for Motorboat Handlers/Fisherfolks (Bstmhf) that was conducted by trainers from the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP).
