A former lawmaker of Camarines Sur was ambushed early Tuesday but survived, provincial police said.
PBgen. Jonnel Estomo, Bicol region police chief, revealed that former Camarines Sur Rep. Rolando Andaya Jr. was driving along Maharlika Highway, near the EPL General Construction and Supply at 5: 45 a.m. when a riding in tandem fired at him.
