The Embassy of Israel in Manila, in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), will be holding the much-awaited 16th Israeli Film Festival. The event, which is also in line with the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of Israel's independence, will be happening every Thursday of June.
Starting off with "Kuya Noy" on June 3, the documentary film is directed by Daniel Binsted. It talks about the story of Noy, a Filipino rock legend who found himself living in the slums of Tel-Aviv, barely scraping by, father to an Israeli daughter who is about to begin her military service.
