The Bureau of Customs-Manila International Container Port (BoC-MICP) has seized over the weekend misdeclared agricultural products from China worth at least P3 million.
In a report to Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, the MICP's Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) said seized was a shipment of red onions, which the consignee declared as yellow onions to avoid the payment of correct duties and taxes.
