The superintendent of South Cotabato Schools Division has pleaded to parents they must not answer their children's modules under the blended learning approach of the Department of Education (DepEd) for the duration of the pandemic. According to Ruth Estacio, children would never learn if parents kept on answering the modules. Estacio said parents may only help and teach their children in answering the modules. She acknowledged that children's and parents' honesty is a huge challenge for modular learning. Meanwhile, DepEd South Cotabato has released a survey, which showed 100 out of 195,000 students failed in the first grading period.
