BACOLOD CITY: The seven-day travel moratorium from Negros Island to Iloilo and vice versa is causing an economic loss of about P1 million daily in terms of port operations, the local business community said.

According to Frank Carbon, chief executive officer of the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the travel ban also affected the livelihood of 50 porters, 110 tellers and office staff, 36 fast craft crew members and canteen personnel.
