Filipinos' preference for American-made vaccines should be tackled through an information campaign to ensure the success of the country's Covid -19 vaccination program, Dr. Anna Lisa Ong, a member of the Department of Health (DoH) Covid-19 Technical Advisory Group, said.

'The natural tendency of people is to prefer brands they hear the most or trust products accompanied by long experience, and we have to admit, we have extensive experience using medicines and vaccines from the US,' Ong, a pediatric infectious diseases specialist, said in a town hall meeting organized by the DoH on Wednesday.
