Morissette 'Shines' with inspiration in OPM remake

Twenty-five-year-old OPM single 'Shine' has long become a staple in singing competitions and videoke repertoires across generations. With its inspiring lyrics, soaring music and sky-high notes, any singer who can deliver this power-belter's dream is a sure winner.

First heard from Sweet Plantado as multi-awarded songwriter Trina Belamide's entry to the 1996 Metropop Song Festival, the single that was eventually recorded by Ima Castro has taken on a different albeit very special turn on its landmark anniversary.
