Makabayan bloc dared: Denounce NPA rebels

The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict challenged the Makabayan lawmakers to condemn the alleged atrocities and violations of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) committed by the communist rebels.

'Their silence is deafening. Why are they silent?' task force spokesperson Lorraine Badoy said, referring to the Makabayan bloc and self-proclaimed rights group Karapatan.
