Smartmatic's bidding win 'fair' -- Jimenez

TECHNOLOGY provider Smartmatic Corp.- Total Information Management Corp. (Smartmatic-TIM) will remain as Commission on Elections' (Comelec) official partner in next year's national and local polls, Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez said.

Jimenez on Wednesday reiterated that Smartmatic-TIM won the bidding fair and square against lone rival Pivot International, Inc.- Power Serve Inc. (Pivot- PSI) and belies its claim of irregularities in the bidding procedure.
