FORMER Information undersecretary Eliseo Rio Jr. claimed that there was overpricing in connection with the procurement of the managed internet service by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
"When compared with the DICT-UNDP Project, all awards are overpriced almost five times on the basis of cost per site per year," Rio said in his presentation during a combined physical and virtual inquiry by the House of Representatives' Good Government and Public Accountability.
