DBM lists priorities for 'very limited' Tier 2 budget

THE Department of Budget and Management (DBM) released a framework that government agencies must follow in identifying their budget priorities for the coming year.

In its National Budget Memorandum 140 signed by Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado last May 24, the DBM said the fiscal space for 2022 available for the Tier 2 budget is 'very limited' given the negative impacts of Covid-19 pandemic on economic activity and government revenue since last year.
