THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said it assessed P42.8 billion in proposed domestic borrowings by local government units (LGUs) in the second semester of last year.
The number of requests for the Monetary Board opinion or MBO processed during the period was 72.0 percent greater than the 93 requests handled in the first semester of 2020, according to a statement released by the central bank on Tuesday.
