Rust will not be an issue for Filipino boxing legend Sen. Manny Pacquiao when he makes his ring return on August 21 against the unified World Boxing Council (WBC) champion and International Boxing Federation (IBF) American titlist Errol Spence Jr. in Las Vegas, Nevada.

By the time Pacquiao faces Spence Jr., it will be more than two years already since his last competitive fight when he beat Keith Thurman in July 2019 for the World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight title.
