Officials from the Philippines and New Zealand have discussed the possibility of forming bilateral cooperation agreements that would allow the former to benefit from the latter's expertise in frontline services.

In a statement over the weekend, the Department of Finance (DoF) said New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines Peter Kell told Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd that his country may help with the ongoing Bureau of Customs (BoC) modernization project as a consultant and advisor.
